Pre-launch Privacy Information
A plain-language overview of the information VIS BUILD may handle during website enquiries and product trials.
Who to contact
VIS BUILD is a pre-launch product operated from the United Kingdom. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to ash@salopia.web. Formal company-registration details will be added when available.
Website enquiries and trials
When you request a trial or book a demo, we may receive your name, work email, organisation, telephone number and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information to respond, arrange access, support the trial and communicate about VIS BUILD.
Athlete and practitioner information
The platform is intended for authorised coaches and performance professionals. Depending on how an organisation configures the service, records may include athlete profiles, programmes, training and testing results, reports, comments, media, messages and documents.
Customer organisations decide what athlete information is appropriate to enter and are expected to have the necessary authority and lawful basis. VIS BUILD will provide the platform and supporting services in line with the agreed data-processing arrangements.
Children and young athletes
Some athlete records may relate to people under 18. Their information deserves enhanced protection. VIS BUILD is being developed for use through authorised organisations and practitioners, with privacy, access control and clear information treated as core requirements. Before onboarding young athletes, organisations should confirm their safeguarding and data-protection responsibilities.
Service providers and security
VIS BUILD currently uses specialist hosting, database, authentication and email infrastructure to operate the website and trials. Access is restricted to people who need it, and technical safeguards will continue to be reviewed before launch. A full notice will identify material providers, retention periods, international transfers and security arrangements.
Your questions and rights
You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern. Some requests may need to be directed to the coach or organisation responsible for the relevant athlete record. We will explain the appropriate route when you contact us.
